Initiate business conversation with Public Sector organizations to understand software/services needs and pass those opportunities through the Public Sector tPAM/Field. Projects will range from specific platform based campaigns to event and services registration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiate 70 to 100 phone calls to Public Sector customers to discuss operational software/services needs
Work with prospects to determine their level of need for software applications
Effectively find favorable prospects and professionally deliver them to senior team members for closure
Share product knowledge, problem causes, sales methods, and resolutions with other team members
Continually broaden understanding of client and client products through a wide range of ongoing training
Utilize various software applications to optimize efficiency and performance
Describe software products to prospects
Continually develop communication skills for a higher level of effectiveness
Develop awareness of customer needs and expectations
Customer Service - works to exceed client/customer expectations
Listening - receives, interprets and responds to verbal messages
Speaking - organizes ideas and demonstrates strong verbal communication techniques
Writing - communicates thoughts, ideas, and information in writing that is thorough and well thought out
Problem Solving - recognizes problems and devises/implements a solution

BA/BS in Sales/Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
2+ years of strong customer service background
3+ years proven track record in sales and prospecting
A successful track record of outstanding sales performance
Experience in business or project planning execution and evaluation of results
