Raytheon’s IIS is looking for someone to be responsible for providing SME Planning support to programs at various IIS locations. In this position, the Planner will interface with Capture teams, Program Management/IPT Leads, customer representatives, and functional organizations to facilitate or to assist in the facilitation of the Integrated Master Plan/ Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) development, process implementation, and maintenance, utilizing Raytheon IIS common processes.

Requirements:
·


10+ years of applicable experience in Planning/Scheduling or Project Management related fields in a US Government Contractor environment, similar to Raytheon.
·
US Citizen with existing/current SSBI or Top Secret security clearance
·
Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 75%.
·
Extensive experience with IMP/IMS, with demonstrated ability to recommend and facilitate the development and integration of complex IMP/IMS architectures/approaches; compliant with internal business policies and procedures, as well as customer requirements, for various contract types and size.
·
Ability to understand customer contract requirements, program hardware and software life-cycle development, and developing multilevel project plans to meet program objectives.
·
Demonstrated mastery-level expertise in both the technical process work flow of the program lifecycle and also the financial/business aspects of the program.
·
Ability to facilitate and/or lead program structuring/planning activities in conjunction with the PM and other stakeholders, on large complex programs; including IMP/IMS, Product Breakdown Structure (PBS), Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS) and/or Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)
·
Demonstrated ability to facilitate/lead/participate in the development and maintenance of the program PMB, including validation of cost/schedule integration
·
Cost/Schedule integration, and EVMS using resource loaded and non-resource loaded project files. Must be recognized as an EVMS expert with ability to implement EVMS on new programs and/or ensure compliance with EVMS standards on existing/applicable projects
·
Ability to design graphically informative executive level briefings to display schedule and programmatic information while maintaining data integrity to the IMS
·
Demonstrated ability to conduct schedule risk/opportunity identification and assessment efforts on large/complex programs
·
Must be a proactive communicator with a demonstrated ability to manage/lead/teach proper scheduling and EVMS techniques/principles for project personnel or teams of varying size and backgrounds.
·
Demonstrated ability to develop program-level critical paths, analyze schedule probability of success (using tools such as Risk+, @Risk, ARM, etc..), explain and defend schedules to customers, work with technical personnel on key items in the schedule to develop possible schedule alternatives in order to improve the critical path and probabilities of success

Mastery level understanding of scheduling principles/techniques using Microsoft Project.
·
Solid project management skills/understanding, with ability to multitask and manage plans and schedules for multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
·
Proven ability to perform detailed analysis on multiple integrated program schedules ( e.g. Critical Path, Schedule Risk, and Earned Value).
Desired Skills:
·


Previous project management experience and/or project management certification.
·
Experience with Microsoft Office Project Server (MOPS).
·
Previous experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry.
Required Education (including Major):
·


Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical Discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Technical BS Degree = 8 years of applicable experience)
