About Client Information

The Client Information Team is comprised of highly dedicated individuals who are responsible for all aspects of the opening and maintenance of Private Banking accounts. The team interacts with a variety of internal groups including, but not limited to, the Account Opening Group, Investors, Middle Office, Client Services and Fiduciary in an effort to match client's investing experience and objectives with the numerous investing opportunities available within the firm.

Client Information Manager

The Client Information Manager will be responsible for managing the Client Information operations and project groups. Client Information consists of 6 teams; Reference Data, Morgan On-line (MOL) Onboarding, Maintenance, Headsheets, Account Opening and the Project Team. These groups are responsible for on-boarding and maintaining client profiles and accounts on the J.P. Morgan systems and managing CI related projects. The group consists of 80+ members including exempt and non-exempt level team members, team leaders, associate managers and VPs across 3 locations; Newark, Mumbai and Bangalore. This individual is also responsible for leading and executing on the various projects that impact these teams.

Core Responsibilities

Ownership of process management and controls associated with the core operational functions described above. This includes regular creation and review of MIS for quality and timeliness targets

Creation and implementation of process improvement measures

Developing and managing headcount and expense plans

Communication and relationship building with client services, client experience, product and platform, technology, finance and PB ops management and staff

Staff development and people management for Associate and VP officers

Responsible for oversight of functions in tertiary locations (India)

Responsible for creating and maintaining resiliency plans and tests

Manage projects impacting the operations space. This includes, but is not limited to the operations efficiency agenda, client on-boarding and enterprise releases


5-10 yrs operational management experience required

5+ yrs managing team of 25+ employees required

5+ years of financial industry experience preferred

Solid Operations Knowledge required

Strong leadership and managerial qualities

Strong time management and organizational skills

Strong project management skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills including issue resolution

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, front and middle office, and technology

Solid aptitude with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Highly motivated and ability to work independently

Detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects and/or tasks

Ability to think creatively and recommend/implement process improvements
