Position Description

The Channel Marketing Manager (CMM) drives collaborative channel partner marketing strategy, contributes to a comprehensive regional marketing plan, and oversees execution of measurable demand generation activities in the Eastern U.S. The CMM manages the marketing budgets assigned, and works with channel partners and other teams to ensure channel marketing plans are aligned with sales priorities.

The CMM position requires experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate should have experience in all facets of marketing including events, online, and direct marketing. The candidate must be strategic, sales-focused, proactive, hands-on, and willing to travel, as the position requires extensive interaction with partners and sales teams.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Understand corporate initiatives, strategic programs, Channel Sales Strategy and Partner requirements.

Promote teamwork and coordinated execution of strategic marketing programs to maximize leverage of all budgets (MDF, Co-op, etc).

Work with Channel Marketing and Corporate Program Teams to provide feedback to create effective demand and incentive programs.

Drive Channel Partner adoption and utilization of Velocity Partner Program tools, incentives and programs.

Translate Channel Partner strategies into effective marketing programs with measurable results/ROI.

Prepare and deliver plan reviews for management as required.

Position Requirements

8+ years marketing experience; 4+ years experience with Reseller channel models; sales experience a plus.

Able to prioritize and deliver on program goals, strategy and execution elements to multiple audiences.

Strong budget management and reporting skills.

Ability to collaborate and leverage resources in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Demonstrated experience executing channel marketing strategy and outbound/demand generation activities.

Familiar with IT marketplace and assigned geography's business requirements

Has or develops understanding of corporate market positioning, strategy and products.

Strong initiative, ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue.

Excellent verbal and writing skills; able to effectively use Microsoft Office

Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Bachelor's Degree required.
