$80,000 - $100,000 Continental Carbonic is a dry ice manufacturing and distribution company that has doubled in size over the past six years to 38 locations and over 750 employees covering 23 states over the eastern half of the United States. This growing company is looking for a Plant Manager. Responsibilities: Directs and promotes the Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the plant level including Process Safety Management process and policies Accountable for profit and loss (P&L) statements and effectively manage controllable costs for the plant, branch, liquid plant and liquid branch Oversee the entire range of plant functions including production, staffing, maintenance, engineering, quality, and customer service Facilitate the use of quality procedures and guidelines to ensure customers are receiving necessary quality and purity of product Develop a well-trained workforce through recruiting, training, and performance management for all plant personnel Achieve target goals for retention through positive employee relations Coordinate all shift operations to include the setting of the operational schedules in conjunction with production schedule Able to calculate production rates and configure plant accordingly to meet production demands Demonstrate an effectiveness in meeting or exceeding customer's expectations Create, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance program including inventory replenishing system for parts Perform all duties in compliance with all federal, state, local and company policies Any other duties that can ensure successful company operation Requirements: Successful candidate must have the desire and ability to improve operations, optimize production, meet tight deadlines, satisfy customers and effectively manage staff and costs BS degree in an engineering discipline 5+ year's successful track record and progressive experience in manufacturing management, process engineering, maintenance, and P&L responsibility Strong mechanical aptitude including hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC's Proven effective problem solver Background in fast paced 24/7 process manufacturing environment Detailed experience working with evaporating towers, NH3 refrigeration, a plus We offer an attractive compensation package in the range of $80,000 to $100,000, plus a significant incentive management bonus, gainshare bonus potential, paid vacation, holidays, 401k, Group Insurance including Blue Cross & Blue Shield health plans, Dental, Vision and Life, AFLAC, Wellness Benefit, Tuition Reimbursement, as well as the opportunity for advancement.
