Manager Product Management
Manages and directs all marketing programs for assigned product lines. Directs the activities of a product management staff. Responsible for all aspects of brand/product management activities and results for assigned brands/products. Works with cross-functional teams to strategically plan, prioritize and manage large complex projects. Manages the activities of individual contributors or supervisors in a section or department with accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies. May participate in the development of functional strategy. Has responsibility for hiring, termination, performance and salary decisions.
Seeking individual that can work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and the demonstrated ability to deliver results oriented towards business or product objectives. Ideal candidate will be familiar with both Waterfall and Agile development and have the ability to operate in both development lanes. The successful candidate will also have a strong focus on Lifecycle Management for products and services. In addition, strong financial acumen is desirable along with demonstrated results focused on value creation and strong customer expereince focused design. Must be able to work cross functionally inside and external to the team, be able to work with 3rd party partners in order to meet busienss objectives.
Individual will be responsible for managing a team of product managers in the areas of Customer Self Service, Device Self Service, Consumer and Enterprise Security, Device Management and Mobility Management; Family Safety, Application On-boarding.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Mangement
- New Product Development using both waterfall and Agile scrum development processes
- Business development
- Contract work and business negotiation
- Financial Analysis acumen
- Development and Mangement of people
- Familiarity with the wireless industry
- Technical Acumen consistent with the wireless industry
- Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
- Five years product management experience
- Five years experience with strategic planning or leading programs/projects
- Two years experience in a supervisory or management role
Master Degree in Business, Engineering or related field desired but not required - combination of Education and Work experinece in Product Management/Development can be substituted
Familiar with Agile Scrum and Waterfall Product Development
Demonstrated results/accomplishment in the area of Lifecycle Management and Product Development
Ability to synthesize data and provide analytics relative to the products under management to affect positive changes for customer experience
