The Senior Director of Advertising Operations and Yield Management is responsible for managing all aspects of advertising operations including, but not limited to campaign management, inventory and revenue forecasting and yield management. The Director will oversee 20 AdTaxi Operations team members, 3 National Sales Operations team members, 2 Social Media Operations team members, and outsourced trafficking team. The best candidate will have strong management and leadership experience working with a large team and stewardship within a large company. We are looking for a leader who can create operational efficiencies, increased campaign performance and yield, across a network of display, exchange, mobile, social, email, and search solutions. This position requires a detail oriented focus with extensive knowledge of digital advertising and a proven track record in operational excellence.
Establish strategic direction and organizational plan that supports the overall vision of creating the best operations team within the industry.
Oversee day to day operations in department including campaign trafficking, delivery, optimization, inventory forecasting, analysis, and reporting all supporting internal and external customers
Work with management from all departments as a liaison on projects, new procedures, new systems, workflows, best practices, and campaign or creative issues.
Identify, recommend and implement tools and systems that will improve advertising operations and increase yield.
Utilize analytics to monitor the inventory yield and optimize on all platforms across the network.
Desired Skills & Experience
7+ years experience in online ad operations management, and/or inventory management
A strategic, analytical thinker with strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
Excellent project management and communication skills
Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels.
Familiar with web-based advertising metrics
Hands on experience with AppNexus, Yahoo!APT, DFP or a similar adserving platform.
Knowledge of ad serving, ad networks and overall landscape strongly preferred.
