The Project Manager leads all phases of their assigned projects including requirements definition, project estimation, creation of project plans, facilitation of project meetings, status reporting, and resource management/deliverable management as related to their individual projects. The Project Manager will collaborate with a cross functional team that includes Designers, Programmers, and eMarketers to accomplish these items and deliver end solutions. The Project Manager is expected to contribute to business development activities - assisting Executives and Vice Presidents within the sales process (brainstorming on solutions, creating proposals, and answering client questions regarding the proposed solution); The Project Manager reports to the Director - Project Management.
: Project Delivery - Manages projects throughout the project lifecycle including definition, estimating, planning, analysis and design, development, deployment, and closure; Determines project milestones and actively measures project progress against milestones to ensure timely and successful completion; Ensures the project follows the proper planning and execution as outlined in the project management methodology; Develops and maintains key project deliverables: project plans, scope documents, communication plans, status reports, and risk management plans; Acts as primary point of contact for clients while in the production process; Builds credibility and trust with the client to ensure project meets the client's need; Performs quality assurance on project to ensure solution meets requirements, functions properly, and is free of bugs; Delivers weekly status reports and other required communication to ensure client is informed and aware of the project status; Works within the delivery team to determine and prioritize project objectives, critical success factors, and project risks; Assigns tasks, sets priorities, and provides guidance in the completion of tasks and deliverables; Tracks and escalates issues as appropriate.
: Business Development/Estimation - Contributes to business development activities by assisting Executives and Vice Presidents including brainstorming on solutions, creating proposals, and answering client questions regarding the proposed solution.
: Customer Service - Works in a team environment to ensure that all elements of project are in sync and adhere to Best Practices; visualize solutions and facilitate communication within delivery team; identify opportunities to exceed client expectations within applicable project budget.
: Leadership, Innovation & Training - Provide delivery leadership to assigned projects; Contributes to the intellectual property of the firm while balancing client deliverables; self directs training and research to consistently better ones skillsets.
: Administration - Record project time into project management software on a daily basis; Meet scorecard expectations ensuring individual profitability goals; consistently adheres to Bayshore Solutions' company policies.
Education and/or Experience:
: Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of technology and/or marketing solutions.
: Experience managing a team of technical/creative individuals providing solutions in a professional services or agency environment.
: Expertise leveraging Microsoft Project to create project plans and allocate resources.
: Experience identifying and resolving complex technical and business process issues.
: History of working within the business development process to architect solutions and determine time estimates.
: Knowledge of various Content Management Software (CMS).
: 1-4 years of experience in delivering web based solutions.
: 1-4 years of experience working in a team based environment.
: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
