Electrical Engineering Degree, 3 Years of Industrial Electrical Systems Experience
PAY RATE: $28-38/HOUR
EXPECTED WORKING HOURS: 24-40/WEEK (FLUCTUATES)
Volt Workforce Solutions has a long-term temporary position available for a Tier Three Electrical Engineer with Our Client in Mayfield Village, OH.
Position Summary/Scope:
Our Client is in need of a Sr. Engineering Technician/Project Engineer. The Engineer will report to and have work scheduled by the Engineering Department Lead.
Expected working hours are 24-40 per week. This will fluctuate and therefore, a flexible hours/day schedule is negotiable.
The major duties include:
Verifying Design Drawings against Bills of Material for Industrial Systems Panels.
Ordering all parts.
Providing a Quality Release to Manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Interpersonal :
Interfacing with Manufacturing to answer questions and/or overcome problems with the panel layouts and Bills of Material.
Interfacing with the Product Planner to overcome parts problems, such as delivery dates, by possibly finding a substitute part.
Business :
Ensuring thorough familiarity with Company Policies and Procedures.
Appropriately applying Policies and Procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and Procedures include:

Control Environment
Information Protection
Functional policies published on Our Client's network.

Required Skills for this Electrical Engineer III position include the following:
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :
Work requires mental concentration and visual interpretation of complex schematics to structure and conceptualize the packaging design with pressures to create accurate documentation within the constraints of a tight schedule. Work requires mental concentration and visual acuity to utilize computer terminals, approximately 40% of the work time.
Independent judgment is frequently required to evaluate the quality of the drawings. Must have working knowledge and/or the ability to add or size components shown on schematics using proper codes (such as UL or NEC) and according to Allen Bradley standards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent training or job experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing Industrial Electrical systems required
Knowledge of Business Systems for Procurement and Material Tracking (such as SAP or IFS) a plus
