The Lab Program Analyst will assist the Program Director in building and maintaining the CareCore National Laboratory Services Program. The Analyst will develop and operationalize medical and payment policy in conjunction with business partners, the Program's Medical Director, and the CareCore National Chief Medical Officer. Specifically, the Analyst is responsible for developing an efficient lab management program in terms of efficacy for clients and efficiency for CCN. The analyst will be a content expert in laboratory medicine with specific expertise in genetic testing. The analyst will support the Program Director, Account Managers, Clinical and Non-Clinical Call Center Directors, Auditors, and other senior leadership.
BS in Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, Medical Technology, Nursing, or other life science related degree. MS in Genetic Counseling or experience in managed health care policy development is strongly preferred.Experience with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint) required.Previous experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven office environmentTwo or more years experience in one or more of the following areas: Project management, health services management, data analytics, healthcare economics, laboratory molecular/clinical processing methods, laboratory billing codes and payment rules, genetic counseling, and / or management consulting.Logical with strong verbal and demonstrated written communication skills essential
