Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Supervisor, prepares, sets up, and serves catered functions. Assists in planning and record keeping.

Work schedule varies to accommodate catering events.Prepares assigned, produced to stock, food items. May also work lead cook and cook positions. Maintains high

standards of quality food production, food presentation,and food safety. Responsible for catering serviceware,and linen. Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.

High school graduate or equivalent. At lease two (2) years experience as cook in large scale cooking

operation. Ability to work in close cooperation with others. Formal training in institutional cooking

preferred.
