This position is located in Anadarko’s Wattenberg Field Midstream Organization based out of our Brighton, Colorado office operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications

  • Mature, professional and self-initiating individual who will deliver strong customer appreciation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and UNCC software preferred
  • Should have a basic understanding of the oil & gas industry and must be able to quickly learn pipeline maps that are used to locate and track our pipeline
  • 2 or more Years Experience preferred
Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipe, pipeline and appurtenances
  • Maintain, adjust, make minor repairs, and operate equipment (e.g., Gen sets, pick-up trucks, water pumps, air compressors, coolers)
  • Perform governmental compliance activities, such as line patrol, road and railroad crossing inspections, and valve inspections
  • Provide daily or weekly time records
  • Start, stop and operate engines to maintain designated operating parameters
  • Locate pipeline and production lines
  • Respond to emergency calls
  • Communicate with many different teams
  • Clear line freezes/methanol
  • Run cleaners
  • Work closely in a team atmosphere
  • Identify and resolve pipeline problems on high pressure natural gas
  • Provide support to the construction team
  • Will do dig standby's when requested
  • Participate in special projects as required- Interfacing with internal and external customers
  • Good time management skills
  • Mechanical skills required
  • Learn on the fly
  • Be able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Work with minimal supervision in extreme weather
  • Maintain and operate company vehicle to company standards
  • Comply with all company safety and environmental standards
  • Perform on-call and call out duties to maintain system integrity, acceptable facility run time and emergency response after regular business hours which may require carrying a communication device.

Education

A High School diploma or equivalent is required

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience

Certifications/Licenses

Valid US driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required

Relocation

This position is eligible for domestic relocation for current APC employees

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%
