The UNM Cancer Center is the Official Cancer Center of New Mexico and the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in the state. The UNMCC is seeking a Applications Support Analyst to function as the Application Specialist for the Elekta Mosaiq software. The Elekta Mosaiq applications specialist will report to the Manager of Information Systems at the UNM Cancer Center. The applications specialist has primary responsibility for security and authorizations, process improvements, presentations, issue tracking, acceptance testing, on-going performance, training, end-user satisfaction and meeting facilitation. The applications specialist provides technical support and coordination to Mosaiq clinical and administrative staff. Job duties will include, but are not limited to: Works with Manager to ensure security, quality and integrity of the data in Mosaiq Reviews release quides, assess appropriateness with end user experts and plans implementations, including scheduling, training and rollout Maintains clear and timely communication with the IT Manager and the Mosaiq operations group Resolves straightforward problems. Assesses complex problems and works with manager for resolution Assists in establishing standards and procedures for Mosaiq system use Manages client expectations, establishes positive working relationships, and provides excellent customer support for support, and system maintenance issues Works to engage end users with the Elekta provided support and training Works with the Manger to coordinate platform and architecture upgrades and modifications This is a benefits eligible position. Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems or 3 or more years experience supporting Elekta Mosaiq in a clinical setting or another EMR system 3-5 years experience supporting a vendor platform Experience with implementation of application software Knowledge of computer technology within a healthcare environment Experience with Healthcare application software Knowledge of ITIL environments Project Management experience
