Title: Audio/Video Firmware Verification Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: Long-Term Contract

a. USB logo test: CV tool

b. Automated tests

i. HCK testing for audio and video

ii. Microsoft tests

1. MF Capture Engine Test


3. AmCap

c. Application Compatibility testing: normal and stress (corner cases to determine where there are weaknesses)

i. WLM

ii. Lync

iii. Skype

iv. Camera (Video capture application in Win8 app store)

d. Coding

i. Visual studio - some experience working in Visual Studio

ii. C/C++ - able to read and modify existing code

iii. Matlab - nice to have

e. Audio/Video experience

i. Ability to identify video artifacts: noise, poor scaling, bad exposure setting, incorrect flicker avoidance, incorrect white balance

ii. Ability to identify audio artifacts: noise, pops

iii. Audio video synchronization

iv. Understanding of what conditions are challenging for audio and video

f. Product Studio experience filing bugs with accurate titles, complete descriptions and repro steps
