Job Title: PT Service Associate
Provide prompt, friendly, reliable service to our customers by using proper bagging techniques and by offering accurate location of item information. Friendly, courteous, and cooperative with other store associates. Responsible for maintaining standards according to the Front End Standard Practice Manual, maximizing sales by providing extraordinary customer service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of Standard Practices. Smile and provide prompt, friendly, bagging service. Engage and interact with customers to create a positive shopping experience. Bag items according to size and weight, taking care not to damage fragile items such as bread, eggs, etc. Perform prompt parcel pick-up service and carry out service upon customer request. These services should also be offered to customers who appear to need assistance. Keep entrance and checkstand area neat and clean. Maintain alertness at all times in the store. Aware of and helpful to customers, providing directions to items when asked. Find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. Learn and properly perform other tasks assigned, including keeping sales floor clean and free of spills and other obstacles.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
Ability to complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Aid courses.
