The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks an intern for our Network Technology Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
The Network Technology Summer Intern will develop and execute a test plan evaluating IPv6 functionality in home networking equipment. Tests will include evaluating the functionality of ULA and GUA addressing, and some security assessment.
Familiarity with IPv6 addressing and subnetting.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
Basic networking course, such as a CCNA prep.
Knowledge of network security tools.
Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) program.
Our program lasts 10 weeks and is a full time paid opportunity (40 hours per week). It is open to qualified students, currently enrolled in a degreed program; applicants must be enrolled to attend Fall semester 2012 to be considered. Please note we do not provide housing.
