Job Code: OPE004436 Mgr Inventory Control NO RELOCATION PROVIDED FOR THIS POSITION Inventory Responsibilites Provide Leadership for site/s inventory program. This person is responsible for inventory functions including: cycle count program, measurement of inventory performance according to customer requirements, resolution of inventory issues, audit reconciliation, inventory and / or operations data collections and analysis, and hands-on-training for system support in a SIMS environment. Will have daily contact with customer regarding inventory accuracy and control. Responsible for identifying root causes of inventory variances and documentation new process controls to ensure we maintain inventory accuracy that is in contractual compliance. Essential Duties: Manage site/s cycle count program Observe audit, record, report and resolve discrepancies Achieve and maintain contractual inventory accuracy goals. Create and maintain various inventory reports using database and Excel Create and update Standard Work Instructions for the department and the overall operation Ability to effectively train associates on the operational processes Daily interaction with internal and external customers and understanding Customer requirements Support Lean culture Assist with the development and completion of Kaizen events, meetings, forms, and A3 reporting Provide necessary support during Lean improvement activities Maintain records and supporting documentation for Lean Design and maintain visual controls throughout the Lean facility Perform other task as directed or requested by management Skills: Understanding of Logistics Operations and Supply Chain Management. Strong organizational and time management skills; specifically documentation of all issues, communication with customers and carriers. Strong systems aptitude and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: The duties of this job are performed in both an office environment and a warehouse environment, thereby experiencing some minor to moderate level of noise due to office equipment and warehouse equipment. May require extended hours in order to meet customer's needs. Travel may be required to customer locations.
