Job Summary:
The person in the position of Business Development Manager at Amphenol Alden is responsible for accelerating our sales growth in strategic medical markets worldwide. This entails identifying the major players in assigned market segments, understanding current and future market needs, and driving the organization to deliver products and services that are valued by customers. Success is measured on increased revenue and market share in the assigned market segments.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop both commercial and technical expertise in assigned market segments
Execute a winning strategy and the tactics necessary to develop new business
ID decision makers at major OEMs, and cultivate strong business relationships
ID trends, define the competitive landscape, and create opportunities for new business
Facilitate the inception, development and launch of new products or services to support current and future market segment requirements
Drive cross functional collaboration and grow revenue in target market
Identify strategic acquisition targets, in accordance with company strategy

Related Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Marketing / Business
Master's degree in business administration or related technology field
At least five years in sales or marketing of electro-mechanical components with a demonstrated track record of successfully growing sales
At least 3 years of experience selling to medical device OEMs

Other Required Qualifications /Skill Sets:
Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical abilities with an understanding of key business metrics
Extensive travel to meet business objectives both domestically and internationally
