Job Description:
B.S. degree in technical area, or equivalent experience. Candidate requires extensive VoIP background integrating Telephony and Data networks. Must have working knowledge of PBX, SIP, IP, IPSec, SSL, TCP, and other network and routing protocols. Proven ability to work independently with strong leadership and communications skills a must. Candidate should possess sound planning, coordination, and analytical and problem solving skills. Exercises judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Plans and carries out work independently and uses own initiative.
Job Skills:
Candidate needs to be able to hit the ground immediately on a project which involves product and verification testing of PBX, SIP, and VoIP.
Provided technical support for TDM, VOIP, MGCP and SIP applications in the Media gateway
They need previous MCI experience specifically with the lab if possible.
If a candidate has done TAC support for T900 system then will know they know what they are doing
Wireless equipment experience IS NOT RELAVANT
This group does testing for network integration with network elements and CPE operate with network elements
Also do wholesale interoperability...Time Warner cable, Brighthouse and mom and pop selling VOIP, they need to terminate calls
Contractors need to know call Flows, how phones work, need to know map signaling from ISVP to SIP
Need SIP experience and experience with network analyzers and to be able to debug captured calls.

Experience with requirement gathering, technology evaluation and testing, implementation, support, evolution and solution
Knows POTS protocols

Develop and execute test plans based on IETF RFC compliances
Implement and maintain in house traffic generator tools to support automation testing on the T9000 switch
Conduct regression testing on every major release to ensure high quality of software releases

#3 Skill is Cisco Router Knowledge
Requirements
3-5 years experience testing IP-PBX's ideally Sieman's or Avaya or Nortel
