The Patient Assistance Associate position will support all of Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Mylan Institutional, My Specialty subsidiary Patient Assistance Programs. The candidate will work to meet program goals, deadlines, and daily tasks. This individual will act as a liaison between Mylan and program applicants as well as with the applicant’s pharmacy and health care provider. The candidate will keep organized documentation and continually work towards improving internal program processes.
The incumbent in this role will:
Support the Corporate Customer Base and sales force by interacting with Accounting, Information Systems, Forecasting, Master Planning, Pricing & Contracts, and the
to ensure the efficiency of customer shipments.
Build and enhance business relationships with assigned accounts and respective Sales points of contacts through managing special requirements, sales analysis, as well as inventory updates/information.
Generate and analyze sales and order information, compile executive reporting on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Discern trends in the marketplace through observation of customer activity, market intelligence, and analytical investigations.
Research and resolve shipping, customer placement, and order entry discrepancies, as well as review financial impact incurred.
Work with management to establish potential new accounts, as well as maintain customer master files in the ERP system.
Manage assigned products to determine all orders are shipping accordingly and to bring closure to customer issues in a timely manner.
Create and coordinate the distribution of customer correspondence regarding customer cancellations, NDC changes, pricing confirmations, updated or modified forecast letters, new product information, price notifications, and product discontinuations.
Handle multiple telephone lines and answer incoming customer inquiries via mail, facsimile, and/or telephone.
Attend and contribute to a weekly staff meeting to effectively communicate with all members of the department keeping everyone abreast of current issues.
Complete special projects as deemed necessary by Management.
Candidates should have 0-2 years of minimum experience working in Customer Relations or business related field with a Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Business Administration or related business field. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Candidates must possess excellent communication, analysis, writing, organization and customer service skills and have the ability to multi-task. Candidates must also possess computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP System (SAP).
