Position Description

Maintains, controls, analyzes and interprets accounting records and prepares financial and tax statements for the home office Credit Union.

Position Requirements

Maintains journal and cash record, general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
Computes income and expense accruals.
Prepares monthly statement of income and expenses, statement of financial condition and supplementary statements.
Reconciles monthly bank statements with general ledger cash accounts.
Prepares monthly analyses of general ledger accounts.
Analyzes and interprets accounting records.
Prepares and maintains budget projections for cash flow, income and expenses, assets and liabilities, and dividends.
Prepares annual personal property tax statements.
Gives occupational guidance to Credit Union accounting clerks.
Performs other functions as assigned.

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.
