Kansas
Member Duties : The Washburn VISTA Fellow assigned to Topeka Habitat for Humanity will research potential grant opportunities for which Topeka Habitat qualifies. The VISTA will compose and submit grant proposals while initiating and maintaining working relationships with the grantors as well as spearhead at least one fundraising event which will then potentially be hosted annually. The VISTA Fellow will assist the Topeka Habitat ReStore manager with community partnerships and outreach. He or she will compile and maintain a list of potential donors and accompany the ReStore manager on site visits for the purpose of soliciting merchandise or monetary donations to the ReStore.
