Personal Care Provider
The Personal Care Provider is responsible for those tasks necessary to maintain the client in a safe and healthy environment, promote client health and emotional well-being, and will provide those services which are specified by program guidelines. This position will also provide limited personal care tasks.
Able to work with clients of diverse social, economic and functional levels.
Knowledge of home safety.
Must complete Personal Care training.
Knowledge of home management skills.
The Personal Care Provider supervisor
Assisting with ambulation and or exercise, positioning
Bathing, mouth/nail care, shaving, skin and hair care
Bladder and bowel care
Communicating with the client
Dish washing, kitchen cleaning, mopping, dusting, sweeping/vacuuming
Taking out the trash
Meal preparation and feeding
Laundry, linen changing
Notify monitor/supervisor of any schedule changes
Attend trainings as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned (Individual needs may vary).
