Description : The Project Director in accordance with established policies and procedures, responsible for the operation of Project, including recruitment, implementation programs, processes, and outcome evaluation of the project. Liaison with national cooperative working group as required. The position involves working on community-based research study investigating smoking cessation among people with physical disabilities. Primary duties include staff hiring and supervision, project coordination, data management, IRB and NIH report submissions, and assisting with grant/manuscript writing. Strong supervisory, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications : Requirements:
Equivalent to Masters Degree in relevant discipline
Three years relevant experience, depending on size and complexity of grant, including supervisory and budgetary responsibility. Preferences:
Strong supervisory, organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience with IRB, and grant submissions
Access to transportation is necessary
