The desired locations for this position are in Indianapolis, IN and Kansas City, MO.

This opportunity will find you working for a top tier Accounting and Consulting firm and participating with a firm wide team in providing IT Audit services to banks. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients and assist them in identifying and resolving issues while dealing with all levels of personnel at the client from the IT staff to the Director of IT to the C-suite executives. You will be able to learn from other auditors with years of experience as you grow in your professional career. You will receive approximately 40 hours of CPE a year to allow you to gain or maintain your certifications and credentials. You will also gain exposure to all sizes of banks and types of IT engagements in multiple states as you build your network of valuable professional contacts. In addition, you will have the opportunity to use and improve your technical writing skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a professional representative of the firm

Provide high-quality client service

Exhibit good communication skills, verbal and written

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Ability to document your work in a detailed fashion through use of electronic work papers.

Ability to identify risks and controls

Provide clients with practical solutions to their issues

Exhibit discipline and organizational skills to accomplish assigned responsibilities within specified timeframes and within identified budget constraints

Proficient at MS word and excel

Ability and willingness to travel to serve clients, up to 40% overnight travel is possible and should be expected and other commuter type travel

Maintain an understanding of current and emerging technologies and regulations which may include:

Windows, UNIX and Linux Operating Systems

SQL and Oracle Databases

JD Edwards, Fiserv, and Jack Henry applications

Virtualization, cloud, and other security technologies

FFIEC, OCC, FDIC and GLBA regulations

Required Skills

Required Experience

Education

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree

Preferred: Computer Science or MIS

Experience

Desirable: IT Audit Experience

Desirable: GIT testing experience and utilizing the CoBit framework

Desirable: Router, Firewall, & Networking Security Experience

Desirable: Experience in regulated environments (banking, insurance)

Desirable: Bank examiner experience

Certifications

Desirable: CISSP, CISA, CGEIT or CISM (one or more relevant certifications required for senior positions)
