Teach survey courses in Indian studies, tribal government, culture and history, decolonization studies, disciplinary research methods and additional areas of interest.
  • On an as-needed basis, the successful candidate will be required to travel to off-campus sites to teach BSU classes to fulfill our 2 + 2 agreements with two-year institutions.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Earned doctorate in Indian Studies or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution at the start of employment.
    • Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Skills/ability to design and deliver on line courses with Desire to Learn (D2L) software.
    • Additional consideration given to applicants with teaching experience or work in Ojibwe or other American Indian languages, social, cultural, or life experiences with American Indians.
