This role is focused on improving HSD Strategy and Web Services team's operational performance with responsibilities of measuring the group's product performance, and advise on ways to optimize audience/user engagement, retention, market share, product design, and quality. This position interfaces with a variety of groups across the company and with all levels of management including the executive team. This role requires excellent attention to detail with high-quality revenue-generating deliverables, as well as excellent management skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ( include the following. Other duties may be assigned)
Develop, and maintain, an extensive internal business intelligence competency focused on summarized web key performance indicators (KPI) of the business and suggest effective strategies to improve overall performance to meet targets for presentation to senior management. Use multivariate testing, and other techniques to deliver data-driven insights into product/asset performance, audience/user engagement, behavior, and segmentation.
Provide comprehensive reporting, analytical, advisory services and strong recommendations to the HSD Strategy and Web Services business through the use of internal, direct website measurement tools (Adobe SiteCatalyst and Discover), external analytics services (e.g. comScore) and multivariate testing tools (Adobe Test & Target).
Manage the operations of yearly online metrics planning, as well as periodic online forecasting. Analyze subscriber growth trends and correlate the usage patterns on HSD Strategy and Web Services products and services; Create trending graphs and budget variance reports in order to provide a more complete view into consumer portal customer behavior.
Provide market comparison between consumer portal and its key competitors. Interface with syndicated research providers to generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and on-request/ad hoc reports, analysis and business recommendations based on findings
Provide analytical support on projects as needed. Build data-driven, scenario-based models to evaluate business impact of all types of strategic and business operations initiatives (e.g., new initiatives, products, partnerships, etc.).
Assist in developing reports and documentation to effectively drive third-party partnership negotiations or renewals that meet audience growth and other targets; Develop relationships with other functional groups as needed to understand the current and future business needs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in one of the following majors: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
Successful candidate will have at least 6 to 8 years of work experience in web metrics and business analysis, with knowledge
of web analytics tools (Omniture Site Catalyst and Test & Target a plus)
Solid spreadsheet skills, including using PivotTable and PivotChart, advanced macros and complex formulas, is essential to this job.
Require excellent quantitative skills, including but not limited to the ability to manipulate large quantities of data in MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Previous exposure to and/or experience with website tracking and reporting systems such as ComScore, Omniture or Hitbox is a plus.
Ability to multi-task projects in a fast paced environment and strong attention to details are required.
Previous experience in Internet-based business or management consulting firm is a plus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common website metrics, financial data/reports, and legal documents.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, peers, and public groups.
Ability to perform statistical analysis and to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory is a plus.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, assumptions and recommendations.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of mathematical and financial data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
