This position is responsible for developing into new accounts, account management and growth of new and existing accounts, building new and maintaining relationships within all assigned customer accounts and territories.

Outside Sales: Proactively target organizations with an opportunity size of 25 to a maximum of 200 vehicles that have been identified to have a need for our product and services. Successfully sell into targeted and identified prospective customers. Build and drive sales relationships within assigned direct accounts to achieve personal, departmental and company goals & objectives by meeting assigned quotas. Present business proposals and executive presentations. Attend association meetings and events and attend relevant trade shows. Respond to all leads within 24 hours. Manage all assigned accounts within assigned territory. Cold Calling and knocking on doors will be a major part of prospect generation.
Administrative: Develop professional business proposals and presentation slides. Utilize tools and resources such as Leadlander, Sales force, etc. to assist in sales activities. Provide weekly sales reports to manager – which will include units sold, units pending, prospects status, sales forecast, DSP Metrics
Marketing/Strategy: Work with Marketing to create campaigns to target specific companies/verticals.
Analysis: Analyze data and trends in your geographical territory to be able to present actual and potential ROI and to assist marketing is supporting your needs
Customer Service/Relations: Work with functional areas to handle and communicate customer service escalations, contract support, etc.
Misc: Join fleet related organizations, chamber of commerce & associations in order to network/prospect to help build a network of industry contacts, other projects as assigned.
A minimum of 3 years business sales experience. Experience in selling at the C-Level and/or multiple stake holders. Experience selling complex solutions. Experience with Sales force or a sales tracking software preferred. Account planning experience.
Strong technical aptitude. Ability to perform in a fast paced culture with autonomy yet accountability. Ability to work well in an ambiguous environment with shifting priorities. Proven Sales success. Excellent PC hardware/software skills. Strong influential skills/level of charisma for building long-term relationships. Persuasive in sales closing ability. Excellent Written/oral communication. A self-starter requiring little supervision. Ability to maintain a moderate travel schedule primarily within your assigned territory. Ability to perform effectively as part of a team . Proven track record of successfully working remotely in a sales environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Software as a Service (Saas) experience is strongly preferred and is a plus.
