Geocoding and analyzing police-reported crashes in Virginia. Fusing multiple spatial datasets to locate all police reported crashes on all public roads in the Commonwealth and analyzing the results to support the mission of VA DMV.
Master's degree in Geography or closely related field(s). A bachelorâ??s degree in Geography or closely related field(s) may be considered in lieu of the advanced degree with significant relevant experience and training. Familiarity with Virginiaâ??s police reported crash data, CGITâ??s current geocoding workflow and Virginiaâ??s official jurisdictional geography. GIS experience (ArcGIS10 preferable). Demonstrated programming experience (VB.net and/or Python and ModelBuilder), production and automation of map books. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
