Retail Graphic Designer-Brand Marketing

The Retail Graphic Designer-Brand Marketing creates and executes concepts, designs, and layouts for the Rockport retail environment. The Designer will work in collaboration with the Director of Brand Marketing, Global Creative Manager, Creative Services Manager, and Retail/Visual Merchandising teams to create best-in-class retail experiences for the consumer.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for the design, layout, and production art for best-in-class retail experiences including store windows, interior store graphic kits, main energy driver graphics, and promotional graphics. Create global templates for key creative communication projects focused on the retail/consumer experience to be used by all markets (i.e. direct mail, seasonal in-store signage etc.) Responsible for the design, layout, and production for best-in-class trade windows and associated consumer experience for key global trade accounts. Work closely with global marketing and 3D retail team on yearly calendar and key deliverables ensuring brand consistency across the retail/consumer experience. Collaborate with advertising agency, photographers, and other creative consultants to align in-house creative with external creative resources. Work closely with the in-house studio and brand team to ensure consistent integration of brand direction into all elements of graphic design. Support other global studio design projects as needed by developing concepts, designs, and layouts including packaging, hang tags, shopping bags, stationary, PR/Event materials, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent time management skills. Eye for retail, 3D design, and consumer experience In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Thorough knowledge of printing materials and processes. Team player able to work effectively across multiple functions
Requirements

Five (5) years of experience in agency/advertising or in-house creative environment. Detail oriented; excellent organizational abilities. Demonstrates calm, flexibility, and remains in control under pressure Able to communicate with all levels of company personnel. Expert in software programs Adobe Creative Suite Ability to produce final artwork and file preparation for publications in required media. Able to produce 3D comprehensives from concepts for sales meeting and trade shows. Experienced in working with vendors, photographers and print production specialists. Demonstrates knowledge in paper and print media and keeps up to date with the market trends. Strong written and verbal skills; can articulate concepts to address targeted marketing goals. Demonstrates flexibility when required to switch direction to respond to market environment issues and executive initiatives.
