Updates functional specifications (test and development), writes descriptions of code functionality, and describes problem resolutions in bug reports, all with some amount of oversight and guidance.
Writes well structured and documented code.
Owns development for features of medium to large complexity, and can apply in-depth knowledge to turn requirements into architectural and feature specs.
Can design and deliver the API of a medium to large size feature without guidance.
Identifies outside technologies and when to use them.
BS Degree and 5+ years experience, or equivalent knowledge.
Has broad understanding of a technology or product area, and can quickly understand other areas to provide useful, relevant feedback regarding issues, interactions, and development directions.
Experience with one or more release cycles and products, showing clear understanding of all phases of the product cycle.
Can code on multiple platforms.
Writes code that is reliable, maintainable,secure, and world-ready.
