This position is located at our Operations Support Center in Cayce, South Carolina. The successful candidate is responsible for supplying general information regarding the SCANA organization to the general public and customers. The position answers incoming telephone calls for SCANA Corporation and its subsidiaries. Also assists internal customers with directory assistance, teleconference and web conference needs. The position will also carry out administrative duties as needed.
Preferred qualifications for this position include a High School diploma or GED and a minimum of two years customer service experience as well as administrative, business or office related skills. The candidate must also possess strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and a familiarity with database applications. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills as well as independent decision making abilities. The candidate must maintain strict confidentiality regarding departmental and employee information. Candidate must be flexible in a changing work environment.
