We are looking for a Business Development Manager to identify and secure profitable growth opportunities amongst major accounts and new business

The business development manager will devise marketing and sales strategies to introduce, expand and growPSC Biotech business across Texas and the US-Midwest.

He/she will be responsible for account management activities for the business and for managing the growth and development with existing and new clients in Texas and the midwest.

The ideal candidate will develop, implement and own the annual and long term customer strategies that enhance customer profitability, competitive leverage and deliver on the targeted business goals.

Responsibilities:
You will qualify new and existing opportunities

You will define and develop Customer retention strategy.

You will develop new sales channels for the business

Proposition development

You will develop strategy, contact and communications plan in conjunction with bid managers

You will be involved in the approvals required at each stage of the bid process

You will engage key client decision makers/ influencers and confirm/assess support for high level value proposition and business case

You will lead and close contract negotiations

Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives.

Perform appropriate prospecting activities to identify qualified prospects for new business development.

Use the consultative sales strategy to effectively overcome client objections and maximize sales activity within assigned territory.

Establish and maintain good relationships with clients and the community in order to develop new business.

Collaborate with appropriate internal resources to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the account.

Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.

Maintain documentation of sales activities in order to facilitate appropriate reporting.

Requirements:
Experience in a Business Development (preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry)

managed service selling market.

Negotiating contracts

Excellent communication skills
