RFC is a technically strong company with special processes and complex manufactured parts produced by roll forming coil rolled metals and a variety of secondary operations to include: punching, welding, bending, cutting, assembly, etc. Summary Job Description: Maintain and stay abreast of market knowledge in respective areas of responsibility Visit customers and potential customers (with the appropriate field representatives) at their place of business when appropriate to enhance relationships with customers and insure appropriate knowledge of customer needs and requirements. Effectively manage the customer relationship by; completing the selling process from initiating sales calls, communicating with customers, selling solutions (consultative selling), sales negotiations, and closing the sale. Maintain inter-company relationships, technical information and communications to be liaison for company and customers. Evaluate project proposals or plans to ascertain time frames, funding limitations, and determine if methods and procedures for projects(s) involved included staffing requirements and allotment of funds to various phases of the projects(s). Coordinate appropriate personnel who will have responsibilities for various phases of the projects(s) and establishes their scope of responsibility and authority within the limits of the project(s) and help resolve problems when they occur. Maintain project schedule and cost status against plan. Submit status reports as required. Hold closing meetings for projects to verify that production process meets quoted standards and cost objectives as defined for the new product implementationachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum 3-5 years experience in the manufacturing field where he/she launched new products and preferably worked with customer-provided specifications/designs. Preferred candidates will have:Technical experience in the Aerospace IndustryProject Management CertificationRoll forming or extrusion experienceAS9100/Napcap/ISO experienceTwo years Sales ExperienceEducation and/or Experience- Bachelors Degree (Engineering, Business, and/or Management) or equivalent and minimum of ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Min 10 yrs exp in mfg/job shop (can add education + job exp). Experience with metals (aluminum, titanium preferred). Proficient in Microsoft office products and MS Project-type experience.Prefer: Minimum of 5 yrs Technical Aerospace experience, and two years Sales Experience, MS/MBA, actively pursuing MBA or relevant Business Mgmt exp., Project Mgmt Certification, Exp with Customer Specs, Six Sigma Black Belt (Green), and Roll forming experience. ISO/Nadcap/AS9100.
