Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Starbucks success by identifying and designing training and development programs for Safety and Security. This position is responsible for development and execution of training to partners across the company. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consults with stakeholders on training and development implications of potential business decisions.
Designs and implements a performance evaluation and feedback system to measure the effectiveness of training
programs and process which meet or improve business objectives.
Establishes and refines training plans for designated client groups to meet performance gaps.
Manages, markets, conducts and facilitates the delivery of training programs and processes. Supports others in
implementation and ensures consistency, accuracy and quality of training.
Performs gap analysis between current performance and business goals and requirements

Facilitating groups and making presentations (6 years)
General industry (6 years)
Individual and organizational performance consulting (3 years)
Designing adult training and instructional programs (2 years)
Managing training programs (2 years)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work within large collaborative organizations
Project management skills, including measurement, reporting and financial analysis
Ability to manage budgets
Ability to delegate
Ability to partner with others in developing strategic plans
Knowledge and ability to apply process improvement principles
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Strong written, verbal and active listening skills
