The Central Sterile Instrument Technician I will be responsible for decontamination, the proper cleaning, assembly, sterilization, and storage of instruments, instrument trays, equipment, and supplies according to the prescribed procedures and aseptic technique; complete requests to dispense equipment, instruments, and supplies to LGMC operating rooms. Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital. Able accept new ideas and learn position duties.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred.
- Any combination of education, training and experience, which could produce the required knowledge and abilities, will be considered.
- Must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outline in the position description.
