Macy’s, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a Compensation Analyst.
Coordinate market survey process, including completion and evaluation of applicable surveys; monitor trends and develop recommendations for changes based on data.
Macy’s owner of 3rd party salary market data system (Market Pay); including ensuring data is updated, developing and maintaining guidelines for use, providing training for department members and driving full utilization of the product within the area.
Complete competitive salary structure evaluations for applicable business groups; develop recommendations for changes based on evaluations.
Evaluate the expense and competitiveness of annual merit pool alternatives.
Assist with annual bonus administration and evaluation including bonus program competitiveness, ROI, modeling alternative designs and maintaining administrative guidelines.
Special projects and ad hoc reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Mathematics or related field required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with MS Access and PeopleSoft a plus.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to work with confidential data in a fast paced environment.
Team player with excellent organizational skills. Solid written and oral communication skills.
Professional compensation certification, such as a CCP, is a plus.
1-3 year previous financial, compensation or related experience.
