Provide Technical Support
Responsible for coverage content and language for one or more product lines
Draft contracts for new and existing products
Ensure regulatory compliance
Analyze major competitor’s products and make recommendations for business strategies accordingly
Develop and facilitate legal approval for new policy forms
Analyze ISO products and make recommendations for business strategies accordingly
Facilitate approval of ISO circular adoptions for assigned line(s) of business, where necessary
Work with product implementation area to ensure correct implementation of approved products
Establish successful partnership with key stakeholders within Business Insurance in order to improve the effectiveness of business decisions
Partner with AORs (Areas of Responsibility) and others to develop and implement product improvements with improved speed to market for the purpose of growing top-line premium and improving bottom-line profitability for assigned product lines
Provide consultation on complex problems/projects and effectively communicate resolution
Consult on multiple projects and prioritize activities
Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and regulatory environment of insurance industry
Stays current with skills by continually seeking opportunities for learning and development within their respective discipline(s)
Leverages awareness of current industry standards/environment to impact decisions and indicate requirements
Serves as a subject matter expert and can consult on complex issues within their discipline(s) from an internal perspective
Monitor Project Compliance
Partners with less experienced Business Insurance employees to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of project management
Intermediate/Advanced: Communication - both written and oral
Intermediate: Project Management and Time Management Skills
Intermediate: Process Development
Intermediate/Advanced: Decision Making
Intermediate/Advanced: Experience in Insurance Operations
Intermediate/Advanced: Microsoft Office Suite of tools, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proven attention to detail
Minimum 3+ years prior experience in product management.
Related insurance experience in the P&C industry is highly preferred but not required.
