UT Medical Group is seeking an director-level leader for the effective operations of the departments of Medicine and Emergency Medicine. The role is focused on the organization and delivery of resources for the clinical practice to meet the needs of the medical staff, support staff, and patients. Responsibilities include financial management, clinical operations, human resource management, and support of the revenue cycle in accordance with group policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines, and statutes.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Successful candidates will have five to seven years progressively responsible related experience in a medical group practice environment, with at least three years of direct management responsibility in a clinical setting, including operational budgetary responsibility. Bachelor's degree is required (Master's preferred) in business, healthcare administration, or related field. Candidates should have an excellent understanding of the health care industry relative to the organization, financing, and delivery of health care services, specifically concerning how they impact physician group practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills required, as long as a management style that teamwork, participation, communication, and a service orientation.
