To lead efforts in the analysis, design, estimating, development, documentation, testing and implementation of new systems. To provide maintenance support for existing systems. To act as a direct liaison with users, technical support, training and operations personnel. To provide organizational, coordination and scheduling support for projects. To provide technical and administrative support to the department. To direct and oversee departmental personnel.
This position will be responsible for the following:
In collaboration with Director of Research & Analysis, leads the development of
dashboards, scorecards, and dimensional data models to present key performance
indicators and related data through user-friendly systems, including implementation,
technical support, and training.
Assesses institutional data requirements to develop a standardized set of self-service,
menu-driven reports to satisfy appropriate data needs and reduce frequency of ad hoc
Acts as data custodian by maintaining the institutional data dictionary, holding
responsibility for data integrity (in appropriate systems), and acting as a singular data
gatekeeper by providing consistent central data for analysis.
Oversees unified process for data requests; prioritizes and manages the fulfillment of
valid ad hoc reporting needs.
Acts as primary data and business intelligence liaison with Information Technology,
including the coordination and prioritization of software troubleshooting, upgrades, and
enhancements in appropriate systems, including Banner and its data warehousing
Performs other duties as assigned.
(Annual Salary Range: $61,110.40 - $80,350.40 - $99,611.20)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Licensure / Certifications
Current Cognos certificaiton from IBM preferred.
