Org Marketing Statement

Responsible for carrying out the strategic sales and marketing vision for Aerospace & Defense. Serves as a point of contact for customer care issues. Maintains a working knowledge of company capabilities in order to seek corresponding sales opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of company capabilities
  • Develops new capabilities in wire and cable manufacturing, distribution, and telecommunications
  • Represents the company at conferences and meetings pertinent to company capabilities
  • Coordinates solicitations and performs follow-up as needed
  • Conducts presentations outlining company goals and capabilities to prospective customers
  • Establishes and qualifies leads that meet company capabilities
  • Develops long-term supplier agreements and/or just-in-time agreements with prime contractors
  • Promotes and markets socio-economic certifications of company
  • Serves as a resource for the Native American Incentive Program administered by the Department of Defense


Supervises sales support staff as assigned. Sets work procedures, priorities, levels of responsibility, and objectives. Determines the means, methods and materials for performing work. Plans the work operation.


Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 6 years of work related experience.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Accounting software, Database software, Human Resource system, word processing software, Internet software, Contract Management systems, Design software, I and spreadsheet software. Interpersonal skills; telephone skills; patience; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organization skills; accuracy; time management.
