The Secretary II will provide organizational, and secretarial support to Community Outreach. This position will provide assistance in the organization and staffing of community events as well as assistance with the wellness/disease management program. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Core Competencies: Compliance and computerized annual required education (Healthstream) and; additional competencies as defined by the Community Outreach Director.


A. Supervised By : Community Outreach Director

B. Personnel Supervised : None


A. Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred. Some college including computer- business related classes preferred.

B. Experience : One year of related experience preferred.

C. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

Clerical skills with emphasis on accuracy and thoroughness. Working knowledge of MS Office suite to include MS Excel, MS Word, MS Publisher. Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and other patient and personnel matters. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the public, co-workers, and other constituencies. Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently without supervision and with frequent interruptions. Enthusiasm and self-starter are desired attributes. Knowledge of community and/or healthcare a plus. Ability to work independently and part of a cross-functional team.
