Job Responsibilities To provide Human Resources services, expertise, and guidance throughout the V15ion (SAP) Project to Divisional Staff in matters relating to: talent acquisition, on-boarding, and new hire orientations; including communication of new hire benefits, new hire benefits entry, and the communication of policies and procedures to new hires. This role will also assist in the design of job descrioptions and org charts for the post implemenation organizational structure.

This role will be located at Curwood Divisional Offices during the Curwood Implementation.

Leads and executes the recruiting process for V15ion position vacancies

Position Intake
  • Discusses position vacancy and job description, in detail, with appropriate managers.
  • Recommends recruiting strategy to hiring manager and execute tactical plan to deliver results
  • Implements the use of Service Agreements with all positions to provide clear roles/responsibilities and manage expectations of the hiring manager and recruiter.
  • Provides each Hiring Manager a Position Profile as the centerpiece of the search & selection criteria
Sourcing & Screening
  • Coordinates advertisement of positions to internal and external candidates
  • Conducts searches on Social Media (LinkedIn) and other resume sources to develop passive candidates for each position
  • Engages and manages 3 rd party recruiters involved in positions of responsibility; set milestones, provides feedback, manage progress
  • Conducts Candidate Screening Interviews, assesses the talent level of each candidate and selects top candidates for review of hiring manager.
  • Reviews screening results with the hiring manager; determines best candidates for on-site interviews
Interview & Selection
  • Implements use of structured interview format and behavioral based interview approach
  • Drafts and implements use of structured interview guide
  • Responsible for scheduling candidate travel and reimbursement for on-site interviews
  • Manages interview schedules for candidates, interview team, and self.
  • Facilitates Interview Recap sessions with Interview Team
  • Consults with Hiring Manager on candidate selection and recommend offer for the selected candidate
  • Routes offer recommendations to Division Leadership for approval
  • Manages negotiations of offers with candidates; involve Hiring Manager as necessary
Leads the On-boarding of New Hires for V15ion position vacancies
  • Completes on-boarding activities and transactions for new hires delivered to the organization to fill V15ion position vacancies
  • Coordinates and assembles Orientation Folders
  • Schedules new hires for Salaried New Hire Orientation
Coordinates Effective Recruiting Process Communication
  • Maintains ongoing communication with the hiring manager and provide updates in regard to recruiting progress.
  • Completes rejection and turndown feedback to candidates
  • Arranges to meet with internal candidates for detailed interview feedback and shares this feedback with current supervisor for development purposes
Conducts Benefit Orientations with ALL New Hires
  • Enters benefit elections of new hires into PeopleSoft timely
  • Assembles Orientation Folders for Orientations
Assist with the post V15ion implementation organizational design for each division
  • Assists with the creation of Org charts
  • Assists in the development of job descriptions with Division Managers
Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5-7 years of previous experience in a Generalist/Recruiting role.
Skills & Abilities Needed
  • Organizational skills to handle a large volume of positions and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Experience with the use of core competencies and behavioral based interviewing
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Mature interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an outgoing personality to effect positive relations with hiring managers and candidates
