Lead the expansion of a rapidly growing water treatment company in the Gulf Coast region and throughout the U.S. Seeking a driven Sales professional with strong refinery water treatment and specialty chemical applications
expertise to support the Refining, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas market sectors.
As a Chemical Sales Engineer you will have great freedom to run your own business with the backing of a $4B global
company as you grow your sales territory focused primarily in the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana.
Knowledge of oil/petroleum refinery processes and unit operations is highly preferred.
Knowledge of various treatment methods, technologies, and chemistries for high/low pressure boilers, cooling water,
and wastewater is preferred.
The Client is an international leader in specialty chemicals and water management solutions capable of satisfying the most demanding water and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering or other Technical Degree ? prefer Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry,
Biology, Microbiology.
2-5+ years of specialty chemical sales experience within an oil refinery or petrochemical plant.
STRONG ability/desire to develop new accounts along with excellent relationship management/consultative selling
skills
Clear track record of strong sales achievements.
Technical expertise or exposure to typical refinery unit operations including: desalters, distillation towers, cokers,
hydrotreaters, fluid catalytic crackers, reformers, strippers, hydrocrackers, alkylation units, etc.
Technical expertise or exposure to industrial utilities such as: boilers, condensers, chillers, cooling towers, heat
exchangers, HVAC systems, raw water/wastewater treatment, specialty chemicals, filtration systems, ultra filtration
(UF), reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), sludge presses, clarifiers, etc.
Ability and desire solve problems in a wide range of industrial process settings.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver?s license with good driving record.
Availability to travel up to 40%.
Compensation includes a very attractive base salary, uncapped sales commissions, excellent benefits, 401K with company match, and paid time off.
