Title: Pre-Sales Systems Engineer II

Candidates applying for this position must be highly motivated to assist in driving Sales revenue objectives across all company product lines. Minimum experience of three (3) years of Contact Center or IP telephony experience requiring a solid demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft technologies and presentation skills to all audience levels. Successful candidates include degreed engineers (or equivalent) in a computer science field embracing an outgoing personality for Sales-based environments within and “anywhere-anytime” work ethic.

Responsibilities include:
Deliver company, product and technical presentations to all audience types (C-level to Business User) in support of partner and direct sales opportunities.
Provide informative business-based demonstrations of ININ software solutions to all audience types (e.g. C-level to Business User).
Design and present solutions for Enterprise IP Telephony and Contact Center environments across all aspects of ININ products to all levels of business audiences.
Promote development of prospect opportunities for Interactive Intelligence (ININ) expansion of ININ Partner Channels and Direct Customers.
Support other ININ teams in execution of their mission statements (e.g. trade shows, public speaking engagements, RFP completion, etc).
Complete technical responses to Request for Proposal (RFP/RFI) submissions.
Develop, maintain and distribute technical application notes and tools focused on product solutions enabling partner and customer growth through shared document strategies.
Flexible schedule to support company objectives across a broad territory requiring a high degree of travel (60% per year).

Skill Sets of the Successful Candidate:
Self-starter with high level of personal motivation to accomplish all work tasks in a timely manner without exception.
Excellent communication skills across all method types (i.e. verbal, written, and formal presentation) to all levels of business (i.e. C-Level, Operations, etc.) and all audience sizes.
Excellent interpersonal skills within team-based environments.
3-5 years of professional experience and knowledge of telephony and call center technology.
University degree in a computer related field of study.

Professional experience w/ Enterprise applications (i.e. network access, database, messaging, CRM, etc).
Experience in IP networking, design, troubleshooting and IP Telephony.
Professional certifications in supporting Information Technology disciplines (e.g. Enterprise applications (Microsoft certification), Networking (Cisco certification), IP Telephony (Cisco, etc), Enterprise security (Cisco, etc)) given additional consideration.

Successful Candidate shall possess in demonstrable knowledge of:

Architecting multi-media contact center solutions (i.e. PBX, ACD, Recording, Predictive Dialing, Workforce Optimization, etc);
Basic expertise in Windows Application server access and management;
Expertise in Microsoft (MS) BackOffice server solutions (e.g. product installation, database creation, ODBC DNS creation, Outlook/Exchange connectivity, MS Active Directory administration and architecture).
Knowledge of enterprise applications across all levels of enterprise computing (i.e. desktop, client/server, multi-tier, and host-based processing);
Extensive knowledge of MS Front Office applications for development of productivity tools, presentations, architectural layouts and proposals.
IP networking configuration and troubleshooting;
Knowledge of predominant enterprise programming API technologies and methods (e.g SOAP, .Net, web technologies); and
Basic programming experience using MS development tools for desktop and web solutions.
