A Porter Valet with Doubletree by Hilton is responsible for greeting guests at the main entrance, transports guests vehicles, in a prompt and courteous manner to and from the parking structure using safe driving practices. Directs traffic at the main entrance to ensure the driveway is accessible at all times. Provides luggage assistance. Escorts arriving and departing gusts in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage. Acquaints each guest with room and features. Provides directions tolocal attrctions, transporting their luggage. Processes all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Porter Valet, you would be responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associatd fees in the hotel's countinuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Retrieve guest items from cars, buses, vans and carts. Transport and deliver luggage/items to and from guestrooms in an expedient manner.
  • Escort customers to accommodations.
  • Promptly answers department telephone using positive and clear English communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of parking-related charges and fees including, but not limited to parking rates, validations, vehicles in the hotel's care, etc.
  • Maintain the driveway traffic flow.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests giving accurate information regarding the hotel, services and attractions, etc. in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Open car doors, unloads/loads luggage.
  • Organizes and stores luggage as necessary.
