About the Opportunity Any clerical or clinical staff assigned to assist in the collection, review and analysis of QAPI Data. Working knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, state and local regulatory standards for hospitals. Interprets and implements quality assessment performance improvement (QAPI) standards, Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory standards. Assists in monitoring unusual occurrences, reporting follow-up procedures, and report monthly and year-to-date comparisons. To assist the director with records form revisions and policy/procedure/protocol development and review that meeting safety/quality standards. Reviews and evaluates patients’ medical records, applying quality assessment performance improvement criteria. Performs quality-assessment functions to accomplish business coordination, monitoring, and reporting of studies according to the QAPI/UR plans. Responsible for knowing current regulatory standards and informing the Director of any new and/or revised regulations identified as being imposed |
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of hospital clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in Quality/Risk Management. Thorough knowledge of multi-disciplinary, organizational, and clinical aspects of patient care delivery. This position requires a working knowledge of the following software programs: MS Word, Excel, and power-poin. tHe or She will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Mission and Vision of this facility. Must have a Current Nevada State RN licensure and BLS card.
