The Associate Graphic Designer, Apparel will contribute to, and support the Performance Apparel Graphics Design Team in the concept, design, development and execution of the seasonal apparel product line offering.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Performance Graphics team in the creation and execution of innovative product design for the Running, Training, Fitness and Golf apparel product lines
  • Understanding of and deliver against all time/action deadlines in accordance with Seasonal Calendar
  • Under the direction of the Graphics Team Head collect market intelligence, trend, color and support information
  • Contribute to seasonal graphic concept and range build through research and design of graphic story, print and pattern
  • Identify opportunities for design support in order to improve design and business processes
  • Support Graphics Team in creation, maintenance and update of artwork / sketches / Illustrator drawings / specifications / boards supporting the process and meeting all deadlines accordingly
  • Assure timely and accurate execution of production ready artworks within the PUMA systems
  • Provide Development with accurate measurement and placement details for all art/graphics
  • Assure all artwork is detailed for technique within garment tech packs
  • Accurate, on time and flawless execution of graphic design work
  • Diligent maintenance of Tech Packs, PRM and PDG systems
  • Maintaining high service level for manager and graphics team

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in graphic design preferred
  • Experience with graphic design and production preferred
  • Ability to manage both creative and administrative tasks
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
  • Strong graphic design sensibility with an understanding of sports performance apparel
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills especially Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Lotus Notes
