Clinical Faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine whose primary role is that of Residency Program Director.

May be Tenured/tenure track or Clinical Scholar's track (Not Tenured/ tenure- track), depending upon academic credentials

Required Qualifications

MD or DO degree

ABFM Board Certified in Family Medicine, as well as graduation from an accredited residency Program.

Significant formal experience teaching family medicine residents.

Prior experience in managing programs, managing personnel, developing and using budgets.

Eligible or current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Kansas.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of ACGME guidelines for residency programs.

Five or more years of teaching family medicine residents, and/or completion of National Institute of Program Director Development (NIPDD) fellowship.

Prior service as a residency program director, associate/assistant director.

Fellowship training in academic family medicine or clinical area.
