There is a $35 exam fee payable by MONEY ORDER ONLY (NO OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED) when present during the seat reservation process on the day of the walk-in exam. Visit our website for specific details.
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have 60 college credits with at least a 2.0 GPA or 2 years active military experience
- Have a valid NYS driver’s license without restrictions
- Not have been convicted of a felony
- Be a resident of New York City or the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange or Putnam Counties
NOTE : You are not permitted to enter the test site with cellular phones, beepers, pagers, or other electronic devices. Calculators are NO LONGER PERMITTED. Electronic devices with an alphabetic keyboard or with word processing or data recording capabilities such as planners, organizers, etc. are prohibited. If you are found using these devices, you may be disqualified.
